Circle of Life

Today I said goodbye to my cat Monty.

The poor old man cat had a huge tumor in his stomach/intestines so we decided that it would be the most humane thing to send him back to the spirit world.

This means that throughout this pregnancy I have said goodbye to both of my fur babies. Kiera (the dog) and the beginning and Monty at the end. When I first got the both of them I knew that they were here to be with me until my two human babies would appear. (So number two must not be far away).

Monty used up most of his lives within this lifetime, especially when he got stuck between a wall for 13 days. He gave all of the family so much love (his own terms), mad us smile, put up with all of Ayla’s affections.

We rescued him on my 30th birthday from the RSPCA as my birthday present. I still remember Mark saying if were getting a cat it’s this one. We’ve moved around and he’s always stayed with us, playing with the dog.

The hardest part of today was when we bought Ayla home from day care and as we pulled into the drive she said “Monty” (as she has learnt because he was always waiting for us to get home.

I will be forever grateful that he joined our family. And I have sadness but there’s so much joy for I know that soon we will be saying hello to the newest member of our family, who has felt the spirit of our pets & the love that this mumma had for both of them, and have for this newest bundle of joy.

RIP my shit shit. Thank you for being my rock when I needed you ❤️

Be Free Butterfly

I have always loved butterflies and with age I have become to respect the meaning of transformation. I believe that we are constantly transforming our lives and that we go from caterpillar, chrysalis phase through to the emerging butterfly every time that we are ready to grow from a challenge that has been put in-front of us.
Every time a new set of wings comes through for me a dance with joy as I know that I have earn my wings from the struggle of breaking free from my cocoon. Each set of wings has different colours that I bring into my life and expand my awareness and consciousness and make me want to find out just a little bit more about myself, others, the planet, and where we sit within the universe.
For me at the moment I’m heading in to another chrysalis phase before the birth of my 2nd child. There are moments of anxiety and joy and not knowing how I’m going to make every thing in my life world but I know that the being growing inside of me has chosen us to be it’s parents, to learn from their big sisters; Amber and Ayla and to bring just a little bit more love into our house which is already filled with a lot of love and laughter.
As I sit here typing away I’ve just realised that my unborn child is too within a chrysalis phase and when they are being born it is the same as the butterfly breaking free from their cocoon. We are all very keen to see how this little being will present itself within this life time, what they will look like, what they like to do. All that I know right at this moment is that this little being will be loved and bring a lot more wings into my life.
Smiles and love,

My little ray of sunshine

Well I’m not sure if everyone has met my cheeky little monkey – Ayla Mae. This little ray of sunshine brings more joy to the world than what I ever would have expected.

I know all mums say that about their babies but she really will go out of her way to bring a smile to anyone she meets.

My husband was telling me that just yesterday morning she made someone cry. Yes tears of joy. She was doing her ‘drunken orangutan’ walk out of the swimming pool complex and then saw the girl behind the counter generally she with wave goodbye but on this day she put her arms up. The girl questioned my husband as to what Ayla wanted and with his reply of “she wants a cuddle” the girls eyes filled with tears and she came around to receive her special gift of cuddles.

This is not the first time she’s done this, people come up to us all the time to acknowledge her happiness. I’m just hoping that her little brother or sister is just as happy. I’m 18 weeks now and though excited I’m a little apprehensive to have two babies under two. I just need to remember to breathe.

I’m sure that I’m just going to be blessed with another little angel who chose me to be its mummy for my learning I’m sure.

Much love ❤️

Am I good enough?

This is probably the most asked question that woman ask themselves every single day.

Now I’m saying woman because I’ve just been having a conversation with miss 16 who was talking about not liking her part-time job doing dishes. I asked her if she had asked to do something else? And then came all of the:

  • I don’t want to be a burden
  • I don’t know table numbers
  • I don’t know how to do this & that
  • I’ll ask to do it when I know how to do it

I responded with:

“We are only good at something after we have practiced it over & over & over again. Time and hard work is what gets us recognition by others. But you also have to believe in-yourself, without believing in yourself you won’t put your hand up to be the best at whatever you are doing in your life. If you don’t believe in yourself you might just settling for what’s safe in life. Living the life of your dreams may not be easy but it is truly rewarding”.

After the conversation I started thinking about when I hadn’t believed in myself and not followed my dreams or was just playing a small game. When all of these things were happening my soul was yearning for fulfillment and I was filled with a sadness. Now even though I’m scared I will head towards my dreams with a belief that I’m worthy of anything that my heart desires.

If am I good enough is a question that floats into your head, whether it’s frequently or not, I’d like for you to look in a mirror and say

“You are worth anything your heart desires.

You are amazing.

You are enough”.

So the first time that I heard this song I loved it (but my husband turns it off when it comes on the radio – not enough energy for him). I really felt the words touch my heart as it’s what I feel when I’m working with my clients. It’s also pretty good to groove to in the car, which is what my sister Laura and myself were doing when it came on the radio when I was visiting Adelaide at Christmas 2016.
My calling in this lifetime is to asssist people to find the light when all they can see is darkness. I help them to find the love and joy in their life again even after life’s challenges have found them feeling trapped within their circumstances.
Each of my clients has a different story that they have and I really tap into finding their strengths that got them through, help them to reconnect with themselves and let go of fear, guilt and shame.
If you want to have a little groove now, even if you just are dancing with yourself click on the words; Call on me below.
When you’re low
And your knees can’t rise
You feel helpless
And you’re looking to the sky
Some people would say
To accept their fate
Well, if this is fate
Then we’ll find a way to cheat
Cause, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh we’ll say a little prayer
But, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh if the answer isn’t fair
You know you can call on me
When you need somebody
You know you can call on me
When you can’t stop the tears from falling down, down, down
You know you can call on me
Call on me, darling
You know you can call on me
Call on me, darling (call on me)
When you’re weary
And the road is dark
And I’ll guide you
With the beating of my heart
And if the calvary
And the help don’t come
Well, then we’ll find a way
To dodge a smoking gun
Cause, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh we’ll say a little prayer
But, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh if the answer isn’t fair (then call on me)
You know you can call on me
When you need somebody
You know you can call on me
When you can’t stop the tears from falling down, down, down
You know you can call on me
Call on me, darling
You know you can call on me
Call on me, darling (call on me)
When you’re, you need someone (just call on me)
You need somebody to cling to (call on me)
When you’re, you need someone (just call on me)
You need somebody to dry your tears
When you’re, you need someone (you can call me)
You need somebody to cling to (just call on me)
Just call on me, love (just call on me)
Just call on me, love (call on me)
Just call on me, love (just call on me)
Just call on me, love (call on me)
Just call on me, love, on me
